Anchored In Prayer App

We respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains what data we store, how to delete it, and how to submit a deletion request for any server-side data associated with your account.

What Data We Store

On your device (locally):

• Your prayers and prayer lists
• Journal entries
• God Goals and progress
• Scripture bookmarks and reading history
• App preferences and settings

On our servers:

• Display name (if you joined a Prayer Circle)
• Prayer Circle membership and shared prayers
• Device identifier used for authentication

How to Delete Local Data

All locally stored data (prayers, journal entries, goals, scripture history) can be deleted by:

• Uninstalling the app from your device — this removes all local data permanently
• Clearing app data — go to your device Settings → Apps → Anchored In → Storage → Clear Data

Request Server Data Deletion

To delete data stored on our servers (Prayer Circle membership, display name, shared prayers), please submit the form below. We will process your request within 7 business days.

Submit Deletion Request

Your account deletion request has been received. We will process your request within 7 business days and send a confirmation to the email address you provided. After deletion, your Prayer Circle data will be permanently removed from our servers.

What Happens After Deletion

• Your display name and device identifier are permanently removed from our servers
• You will be removed from all Prayer Circles
• Any prayers you shared in Circles will be anonymized or deleted
• This action cannot be undone — you would need to create a new account if you return
