Is Anchored In free to download?
Yes — the app is free to download and use on both iOS and Android.

Do I need to create an account?
No. You can begin using Anchored In right away with device-based identity. You may optionally link an email and password for account recovery on a new device.

Android is currently in beta. You can join through Google Play with a Gmail account.

Are my prayers and journal entries private?
Yes. Personal prayers, journal entries, and God Goals are stored securely and are only accessible to you. They are never shared, sold, or used for advertising.

What happens to my data if I delete the app?
If you linked an email account, your data can be recovered after reinstalling. Without a linked account, data tied only to your device may not be recoverable.

Do you share my data with third parties?
No. We do not sell or share personal data. Google Gemini is used only to power Ask Anchored, and prompts are sent securely.

What is Ask Anchored?
Ask Anchored is a grace-centered AI reflection assistant that helps refine prayers, explore scripture, and break down God Goals. It is assistive only and not a substitute for pastoral or medical guidance.

What are Prayer Circles?
Private group prayer spaces where members share requests, cover one another in prayer, and encourage each other. Access is through an invite code.

What are God Goals?
Spiritual journey commitments with five milestones: Discernment, Commitment, First Steps, Consistency, and Testimony.

What is Morning Word / Evening Word?
Daily grace-filled devotional encouragements delivered at a time you choose — starting and ending your day anchored in truth.

A daily Bible verse with a personalized reflection, delivered as a push notification and viewable in the Scripture tab.

How do I turn off notifications?
Open Settings inside the app and toggle off whichever reminders you do not want. You can also manage notifications through your phone's system settings.

Why am I not receiving notifications?
Make sure notifications are enabled both in your phone settings and inside Anchored In's Settings screen.

Anchored In supports iPhone (iOS) and Android devices. A Gmail account is required to join the Android beta.
